Welcome to the "Deity Contrib" wiki! This is a shared location where people can contribute additional details about locations including people and lore. Other pages can also be created to add details about people, races, and items.

This wiki is intended to be a central place for people to collaborate and share details from their own campaigns so they can be used to flesh out the worlds of other gamemasters. Though the content is available from within the Deity App (which is a "commercial" application), it is provided there freely, just as via this site.

References

Obviously, there is no need to link to sources in order to support facts like on a site such as Wikipedia but references are still useful to describe where the content came from. It could be a link to another website or simply one line about the author and their campaign.

Building a Page

A page should look something like this:

= Main Title =

A brief description of the page. The "=...=" line can be omitted if the page itself is the same as the title but locations have to use a canonical name that can be matched with markers inside Deity. Those look like "World-Era-Region-City-Place", a series of alphanumeric names separated by dashes. It's best to create those pages by following "edit" links directly from the Deity map-marker to ensure the correct page name.
