Forstane Manor
Approaching the manor shows long-abandoned fields and a few walls reduced to near-rubble. A huge, old-growth oak tree rises on the near side; it was likely a good-sized tree when the manor was first built. The oak has manifested itself as a Dryad named "Bramble". [1]
People
Bramble
Bramble, the Dryad of the old oak tree, embodies ancient nature and serene beauty. Standing at five and a half feet tall, her slender form has a bark-like texture with subtle grooves and knots. Her hair, flowing to her waist, shifts with the seasons—vibrant green in spring and summer, auburn in autumn, and frosty white in winter, often adorned with tiny flowers and acorns. Her mossy green eyes glow ethereally, reflecting forest wisdom and tranquility. Clad in garments woven from leaves, vines, and petals that blend with the surroundings, she moves with otherworldly grace, her voice a calming rustle of leaves. [1]

Approaching Horror [1]
Near the end of The Migration Wars, the Horidi sacked Forstane Manor. One of its residents was a priest of minor power and it was he who awakened the spirit of the oak tree. As he died, he cursed those attacking him and his home. Though it did not foil the attack, it did cause an evil to root in the area. That evil has taken form as a "Vine Horror" and is now encroaching on the ruined manor, threatening the existence of the Dryad.
