Main Building Entrance
The stairs that lead down have treads half the size of the ones up the side of the building: just a hair over a foot high and deep. The upper surface is just over five feet thick. Below the roof, a silver railing runs parallel to the steps. It comes out of the stone with no attaching fixture, a smooth round bar about three inches in diameter. Between the railing and the steps is something solid, absolutely clear, and unyielding. [1]
There is a vague pale light inside, about as bright as a sunset, but there is something odd about it: there are no shadows. The light comes from the entire ceiling and all the walls. The effect is eerie and unsettling. [1]
