Chantal (fortified manor)

Chantal is a fair place, a hundred people or so and good forage near a cheery stream. However, for me the attraction of Chantal – and the reason I tend to overnight there – is that it is the last village on the way to Qualdris. Staying overnight at Eliten only means another league to travel the next day, and from Chantal to Qualdris is already a full five leagues through hills and woods.

The trail through the rocky hills is several leagues long.
