Hilgere (fortified manor)

About a mile beyond Bertine is Hilgere, a hundred people farming their hearts out with woods on either side. If travel has been hard or you are interested in stopping early, this is a place to consider. There is no inn, but the tavern does fair business and there is a good-sized commons.
